Accreditation of Coffee Exporter

  1. Original Copy of Letter of Intent;
  2. Photocopy of Mayor’s Permit;
  3. Photocopy of Company Profile
  4. Original Copy of Authorization of Representative to transact with EMB

Important Notice

To maintain health protocol and safety during the pandemic, the applicants are requested to submit the scanned copy of the required documents through the email addresses at MaImeldaTorio@dti.gov.ph and embcoffee@dti.gov.ph.

The company visit, as part of the process, has become a challenge to both the officer and the applicant without the risk of exposure to COVID-19. In lieu of the visit, applicants are requested to submit pictures using “Geo-cam” or “GPS Camera” application of the following:

  1. Outside and inside pictures of the company’s office and warehouse with the company’s signage; and
  2. Wall-posted Government permits. (eg. Mayor’s Permit. BIR 2303, SEC Registration, DTI Registration, etc.) location of the company, street, building.

The pictures should have the date and specific location imprint.

Required Documents

  1. Original Copy of Duly accomplished Export Declaration (ED) Form;
  2. Photocopy of Commercial Invoice;
  3. Photocopy of Packing Lists; and
  4. Photocopy of Draft Bill of Lading or Airway Bill (Cargo Booking)

The same process is still followed except that the approval and releasing of the Coffee Export Clearance (CEC) is now online.

Issuance of Coffee Certificate of Origin (CO)

Required Documents

  1. Photocopy of Validated Export Declaration (ED) stamped with Authority to Load and Date;
  2. Photocopy of Commercial Invoice;
  3. Photocopy of Packing Lists; and
  4. Photocopy of Signed Bill of Lading (BL) or Airway Bill (with Date of Loading)

Important Notice

To maintain health protocol and safety during the pandemic, the applicants are requested to submit the scanned copy of the required documents through the email addresses at MaImeldaTorio@dti.gov.ph and embcoffee@dti.gov.ph.

The same process is still followed except that the approval of the Certificate of Origin is every Wednesday only during when the skeleton workforce is present. Releasing will be coordinated with the Guard on Duty for the convenience of the client applicant.

  1. Original copy of Letter of Intent (to mention the coffee form, volume, and the contact details of the consignee); and
  2. Original copy of proof or information to support the request for exemption.
